Cadaval is a Portuguese village in the district of Lisbon, with around 3,000 inhabitants. The village is located in the former province of Estremadura and integrates the Intermunicipal Community of the West and the Center region.
It is the seat of the municipality of Cadaval, with an area of 174.89 km² and 14,228 inhabitants (2011). The municipality is limited to the north by the municipality of Caldas da Rainha, to the east by Rio Maior and Azambuja, to the south by Alenquer, to the southwest. by Torres Vedras, to the west by Lourinhã and to the northwest by Bombarral.

The municipality of Cadaval is divided into 7 parishes: Alguber; Cadaval e Pêro Moniz; Lamas e Cercal; Painho e Figueiros; Peral; Vermelha; Vilar.
