(It is not a good option ....). Headquartered in the homonymous village of Algueirão - Mem Martins, the parish has an area of 16.37 km² and 66 250 inhabitants (2011), is the largest parish, in terms of population, in Portugal.
The parish is characterized by two distinct areas, one urban (Algueirão, Mem Martins, Mercês and Tapada das Mercês) and another with rural characteristics (Sacotes, Coutinho Afonso, Raposeiras, Casal da Mata, Recoveiro, Baratã, Pexiligais and Barrosa). There is also a demarcated industrial area located in the Bairro de S. Carlos.

TELHAL
Telhal is a rural town in the parish of Algueirão-Mem Martins, municipality of Sintra. It is known for having a health home for psychiatric patients. It is served at the railroad level by the Linha do Oeste and its main road is the A16 motorway.
